This app will calculate your cat's daily metabolic need for calories expressed as the Resting Energy Rate (RER), an estimated protein intake per pound, and the Total Daily Energy Needs of your cat. A custom input Life Factor field is provided to adjust the caloric needs based on the activity level, age, and health of your cat. Instructions (1) Enter your cat's weight in pounds to display the weight in kilograms, Resting Energy Rate (RER), and an estimated protein needs per pound. (2) Then select (tap) the Life Factor desired to display the suggested Total Daily Energy Needs (in calories) for your pet.
